4. Remove the old lter and wipe o the lter
mounting surface.
5. Install the new lter. Lubricate the lter gasket
with a drop of fresh oil. Turn the lter clockwise
until the rubber gasket contacts the sealing sur-
face, then turn an additional 3/4 turn. Do not
over-tighten.
NOTE: Use ONLY a Walker lter (P/N 5024-13).
6. Reconnect the lines between the oil pump and
the transmissions at the elbow connectors. Use
a 12mm and a 17mm wrench to prevent the
hose from rotating while tightening the connec-
tion.
7. Apply a thread sealer to the reservoir drain plug,
then reinstall.
8. Thoroughly clean the area around each ll plug
on the top of each transmission. Remove the
ll plugs, and use a small funnel to ll to the bot-
tom of the threads—approximately 16 oz. Re-
install the ll plugs. See Fill Transmission Oil
illustration for location of ll plugs.

630 oil (P/N
6450-20).
9. Thoroughly clean around the reservoir ll cap,
and remove the cap. Fill the reservoir to the
bottom of the threads.
10. Keep the cap o, start the engine, and let the
engine run for a few minutes while watching the
oil through the ll opening for the air (foam) to
dissipate. Add additional oil to reach the cold ll
line (about half-way up the sight gauge window)
if necessary.

11. Reinstall the reservoir ll cap. Drive the tractor
for 5 minutes. Let the engine cool and check
the cold ll level again. Add additional oil to
reach the cold ll line (about half-way up the
sight gauge window) if necessary.
12. Check all connections for leaks and tighten if
necessary.
