Cleaning and maintenance
Proper care of your air conditioner will keep it running at high efficiency. Disconnect the unit
from the power supply when cleaning and replacing filters.
Main unit
Dust may accumulate on the cabinet. Remove it with a soft cloth dampened in water with a
little detergent. Do NOT use water to clean the unit or the ventilation openings.
Pre-filter
It should be cleaned once a month with a dry cloth or vacuum cleaner. The pre-filter can
also be rinsed under water. To remove the filters from the unit, gently grasp the handle and
pull towards you.
HEPA filter
Clean it once a month with a dry cloth or vacuum cleaner. Do NOT use water under any
circumstances as it will permanently damage the HEPA filter. It is recommended to change
the filter every 6 months or so.
