FAQ
Q: Does the discharge pipe have to go outside?
A: Yes, this is necessary in both heating and cooling modes. The air conditioner uses a tube
to expel cold air to the outside in heating mode and hot air in cooling mode. Without the
tube exposed, the air conditioner will eject both hot and cold air into the room without
changing the room temperature. The air conditioner can operate without the pipe
connected only in purification, dehumidify and ventilation mode.
Q: How is the condensate drained?
A: During cooling operation, most of the condensate is discharged to the outside as water
vapor along with the warm air. The remainder collects in the unit's tank. When the tank is
full, the air conditioner will display „FULL”. In this case, remove the rubber plug from the
lower condensate drain hole and connect the drain pipe to it. After removing the water,
restart the machine.
Before operating the air conditioner in heating mode, remove the rubber cap from the lower
condensate drain hole and connect the drain pipe to it. The condensate will be drained
continuously through this drain pipe.
Q: Do I need to add refrigerant?
A: There is no need to refill the refrigerant in the unit. The air conditioner's refrigeration
system is extremely tight and even after several years, the amount of refrigerant will not
decrease noticeably.
Q: Do I need to perform maintenance on the unit?
A: We recommend inspecting the unit before each summer season to maintain peak product
performance.
Q: Is it possible to connect the discharge pipe to the ventilation grille?
A: Do not use this connection. It will drastically reduce the performance of the air conditioner
and may cause damage to the air conditioner.
Q: Does the unit need to be installed by a qualified service person?
A: No, you can connect and run the air conditioner yourself. Installation is easy and requires
no special knowledge or skills.
