Correct positioning of the air conditioner
The air inlet of the air conditioner should be at
least 30 cm from a wall or other obstruction.
The air discharge pipe should be 30 cm long
for best performance. The tube can be
extended, but this reduces the efficiency of the
air conditioner.
The air discharge pipe should be as parallel to
the ground as possible. The pipe should not be
bent or twisted as this will reduce the efficiency
of the unit.
If you have a sliding window, you can install a window trim in it. Adjust the width of the skirting
to the window and then lock its length by pushing in the pins. After installation, connect a pipe
to the skirting board for air drainage with an appropriate ending. The minimum window width
is 50 cm, the maximum is 150 cm.
