A coarse blade is generally used for a solid steel bar
but a finer tooth blade used on a thin-wall tube. In
general, the blade choice is determined bythe
thickness of the material;the thinnerthe material, the
finer the tooth pitch.
For very high production on cutting of special
materials, or to cut hard-to-cut materialssuch as
stainless steel, tool steel, or titanium, contact your
industrial distributor for more specific blade recom-
mendations. Also, the supplierwho providesthe work
piece material should be preparedto provide you with
very specific instructions regardingthe best blade for
the material andshape supplied.
