9.12.1 Lifting Pole and IV Pole

To ensure safe use of the lifting pole:
 Use the lifting pole only if the bed is positioned to the level position.
 Never exceed the maximum load of 75 kg.
 Never use the lifting pole for rehabilitation exercises.
 Never use the lifting pole in lateral tilt.
 To prevent the bed from tipping over, ensure that the lifting pole does not project out from the bed.
Lifting Pole Positions:
 Over the backrest (working position).
 Parallel to the head board.

To install the lifting pole:
 Insert the lifting pole in the corresponding bushings at the head of the bed (corners).
 Ensure that the safety pin locks in place.
A plastic grab handle with an adjustable strap is attached to the lifting pole.
NOTE The date of manufacture is marked on the grab handle. wissner-bosserhoff
®
recommends that you
replace the plastic grab handle every four years.
