SECTION 4 MAINTENANCE
This section lists the maintenance procedures that need to be performed on the LT10
sawmills.
The Short Interval Maintenance Schedule lists procedures that need to be performed
every 4, 8 or 25 hours.The Maintenance Log lists procedures that need to be performed
every 50, 100, 200, or 1000 hours. Keep track of machine maintenance by filling in the
machine hours and the date you perform each procedure.
This symbol identifies the interval (hours of operation) which each maintenance
procedure should be performed.
4.1 Wear Life
See Table 4-1. This chart lists estimated life expectancy of common replacement parts if
proper maintenance and operation procedures are followed. Due to the many variables
which exist during sawmill operation, actual part life may vary significantly. This
information is provided so that you may plan ahead in ordering replacement parts.
4.2 Sawdust Removal
Remove the excess sawdust from the blade wheel housing and sawdust chute every
blade change.
