Print density is uneven between the left and right portion of the printed image, Figure 1.
Initial Actions
• Ensure that the priner is level.
• Check the life of the Toner Cartridge, refer to GP
6 Machine Reports.
Install a new Toner Cartridge if it has reached end of life, refer to the Xerox® B215/B

• Remove the Toner Cartridge. Rotate the Toner Cartridge 5-6 full rotations to redistribute
t
he toner.
Procedure
WARNING
Do not perform repair activities with the power on or electrical power supplied to the
machine. Some machine components contain dangerous electrical voltages that can
result in electrical shock and possible serious injury.

Switch Off the Power. Check the contacts on the Toner Cartridge and HVPS PWB for contami-
nation. The contacts are OK.

Check the Transfer Roller for wear or damage. The Transfer Roller is OK.
