7. Insert the bypass tray back into the printer. Push the tray in all the way.
8. If the control panel prompts you, on the screen, verify the paper size and type.
a. Touch Size, then, for a standard paper size, touch an option.
b. Touch Type, then, for the paper type, touch an option.
c. Touch Color, then select the paper color.
9. Touch Confirm.
Clearing Paper Jams from the Tray 1 Area
To resolve the error displayed on the control panel you must clear all paper from the paper path.
1. Remove any paper from the bypass tray.
2. Grasp both sides of the bypass tray, then pull it straight out of the printer.
