such installations are beyond the bounds of Xycom design intent. Xycom accepts no re-
sponsibility for installations of this equipment or any devices attached to this equipment
in Division 1 locations.
Note
It is the customer’s responsibility, when adding additional cards, that
they meet operating conditions for Class I, Division 2 hazardous loca-
tions
.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product is properly rated for the
location. If the intended location does not presently have a Class, Division, and Group
rating, then users should consult the appropriate authorities having jurisdiction in order
to determine the correct rating for that Hazardous Location.
In accordance with Federal, State/Provincial, and Local regulations, all hazardous loca-
tions’ installations should be inspected by the appropriate authority having jurisdiction
prior to use. Only technically qualified personnel should install, service, and inspect
these systems.
Warning
Suitable for use in Class I, Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D, and Class
II, Division 2, Groups F and G hazardous locations or non-hazardous lo-
cations only.

Do not disconnect equipment unless the power has been switched off or
the area is known to be non-hazardous.
