  If your Xylem Water Pump doesn't start, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure that the power supply is properly connected and working. If the motor's thermal overload protection has been triggered, reset it on the control panel or the unit itself. Also, check if the device detecting the absence of liquid or minimum pressure has been activated; if so, top up the liquid or restore minimum pressure. A faulty capacitor could also be the culprit, in which case it should be replaced. Finally, inspect the control panel and motor for any faults, repairing or replacing them as necessary.

  If the thermal overload protection triggers or the fuses trip in your Xylem Water Pump, it could be due to several reasons. The overload protection might be calibrated too low for the motor's rated current, so recalibrate it. Check for a missing power supply phase and restore it if necessary. Ensure all connections of the thermal overload protection are tight and not faulty, replacing clamps and terminals if needed. Also, check the motor's terminal board for loose, incorrect, or faulty connections. Other potential causes include a faulty motor, a mechanically seized pump unit, or a faulty check valve or foot check valve.
