1 Selectable Performance Modes
The user has a choice of three performance
modes that are selectable through the control
handle. The factory default setting is Mode 3.
The mode selection is made at startup, or key
ON. Performance parameters that vary are:
Acceleration, Deceleration (neutral braking),
and Top Travel Speed.
Mode 1: Economy Mode (Battery saver)
Acceleration - soft
Top Speed - 80% of full speed
Neutral Braking - medium level
Mode 2: Performance with Neutral Braking
Acceleration - medium
Top Speed - 90% of full speed
Neutral Braking - medium level
Mode 3: Performance without Neutral Braking
Acceleration - maximum
Top Speed - 100% of full speed
Neutral Braking - minimum
To select the performance mode, the steer handle must be in the upright position
with the key switch in the OFF position. Depress the horn button and turn the key
switch to the ON position. The horn will sound. Release the horn button. Press the
lift and lower buttons to cycle the modes. The horn will sound after the button is
depressed to indicate the mode selected. The lift button will cycle up (1-2-3-1) and
the lower button will cycle down (3-2-1-3). To store the selected mode, lower the
steer handle to the drive position and return to the stop position. Truck will now
operate in the selected mode.
