DISASSEMBLING THE OIL PUMP
1. Remove:
• Crankcase cover 2
2. Remove:
• Relief valve “1”
3. Remove:
• Oil pump cover “1”
4. Remove:
• Oil strainer cover “1”
• Oil strainer “2”
• Inner rotor “3”
• Outer rotor “4”
CHECKING THE OIL PUMP
1. Check:
• Inner rotor “1”
• Outer rotor “2”
Cracks/damage/wear  Replace the defective
part(s).
2. Check:
• Oil strainer “1”
• Oil strainer cover “2”
Damage  Replace.
Contaminants Clean with solvent.
