What to do if my Yamaha YW50AP Scooter has no spark?

If your Yamaha Scooter has no spark or an intermittent spark, start by checking the condition, type, and gap of the spark plug. If the spark plug is faulty, replace it or repair the plug gap. Also, check the ignition spark gap. If the spark plug cap resistance is out of specification, replace the spark plug cap. If the ignition coil, pickup coil, or source coil is faulty, replace them. Furthermore, check if the main switch or engine stop switch is faulty and replace them if needed. Inspect the entire ignition system for loose connections and consider replacing the CDI unit. If the ignition system is in good condition, verify the operational specifications.
