FRONT BRAKE
2. Inspect:
8 Master cylinder 1
8 Scratches/wear/damage→Replace the
master cylinder assembly.
3. Inspect:
8 Diaphragm 1
Wear/damage→Replace.

MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

8 All internal brake components should be
cleaned and lubricated with new brake fluid
only before installation.
Recommended brake fluid:
DOT #4(or DOT #3)
8 Replace the piston seals and dust seals
whenever a master cylinder is disassembled.
1. Install:
8 Cylinder cup 1
8 Master cylinder piston 2
Install cylinder cup 1 by using cylinder
cup installer 3.
Cylinder cup installer set:
90890-01996

MASTER CYLINDER INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
8 Master cylinder kit 1
Wear/scratches→Replace the master
cylinder assembly.
8 Master cylinder boot
Cracks/damage→Replace.
