CARBURETOR
NOTE:
The float arm should be resting on the needle
valve, but not compressing the needle valve.
8 If the float height is not within specification,
inspect the needle valve, float and valve seat.
8 If it is worn, replace it.

NOTE:
The float height is properly adjusted at the Yamaha
factory. Never attempt to adjust it.
CARBURETOR ASSEMBLY
To assemble the carburetor, reverse the disas-
sembly procedures.
Note the following points.

8 Before reassembling, wash all parts in clean
gasoline.
8 Always use a new gasket.
