1. Lookingatthetransmissionfromthe right sideof the
tractor,locatethecompressionspringandbrakedisc.

2. Loosen,but do NOTremove,thehexnutfoundon the
rightsideof the brakeassembly.SeeFigure16.
3. Usingafeelergauge,setthe gapbetweenthe brake
discandthebrakepuckat.011".
4. Re-tightenthe hexnut loosenedearlier.
Seat Adjustment

behind the machine and pull back
on seat until fully engaged into
stop.
Standard Seat
Toadjustthepositionoftheseat,loosenthe twohex
screwson the bottomof the seat.Slidethe seatforward
or backwardas desired.Retightenthe twoscrews.See
Figure17.
Knob Adjustment Seat (if so equipped)
Toadjustthepositionoftheseaton modelsso equipped,
loosenthetwoknobson the bottomof theseat. See
Figure18.Slidetheseatforwardor backwardasdesired.
Retightenthetwoknobs.
Quick Adjust Seat (if so equipped)
Toadjustthepositionoftheseaton modelsequipped
witha seatadjustmentlever,movethe seatadjustment
lever(locatedundertheseat)totheleftand slidethe seat
forwardor rearward.SeeFigure19.Makesureseatis
lockedintopositionbeforeoperatingthetractor.
