Outbound Proxy in Dialog
An outbound proxy server can receive all initiating request messages and route them to the designated
destination. If the IP phone is configured to use an outbound proxy server within a dialog, all SIP request
messages from the IP phone will be sent to the outbound proxy server as mandatory requirement.
Note
To use this feature, make sure the outbound server has been correctly configured on the IP phone. For more
information on how to configure outbound server, refer to Server Redundancy.
