Call Transfer
You can transfer a call to another party in three dierent ways:
• Blind Transfer: Transfer a call directly to another party without consulting.
• Semi-Attended Transfer: Transfer a call when receiving the ring-back.
• Attended Transfer: Transfer a call with prior consulting.
To perform a blind transfer:
1. Press Options during a call, and then select Transfer.
2. Enter the number or select the handset you want to transfer the call to.
3. Press Transfer. The call screen will say “Call Transferred” when the transfer
goes through.
To perform a semi-attended or attended transfer:
1. Press Options during a call, and then select Transfer.
2. Do one of the following:
a. Enter the number or select the handset you want to transfer the call to
and press the green Call button.
b. Press Directory and select the desired contact. If a contact has both an
oce number and a mobile number, select the desired number. Then
press Call or the Call button.
3. Select Transfer to complete the transfer when receiving the ring-back or
after the party answers the call. The screen will show “Call Transferred” when
complete.
To transfer a call to another party when there are two calls on the handset:
1. Place the first call.
2. Put the second call on hold and place the second call.
3. Select the call you want to transfer and make sure the call is active.
4. Press Options, and select Call Transfer.
5. The screen will display the target party (the second call) where you will
transfer the first call. Press Transfer to complete the transfer.
