2. Installa on
2.1 Preparing the pool: water balance
These appliances are designed to disinfect pool water using the salt water chlorina on func on.
It is essen al that the water balance and salinity (4 g/L) are checked and adjusted before installing the appliance. Making
sure that the water balance and salinity are correct from the very start will reduce the likelihood of encountering problems
on the  rst days of opera on or during the season the pool is in use.
Even though it is an autonomous system, it is essen al to regularly analyse the water to check the water
balance parameters and adjust them if necessary.

2.2 Installing the control box
• The control box must be installed in a dry ven lated technical room protected against frost, with no pool maintenance
products stored nearby.
• The control box must be installed at a distance of at least 2.0 m from the outside edge of the pool. Any addi onal local
legisla on in force concerning the installa on of the control box in the country concerned must be complied with.
• It must not be installed more than 1.5 metres from the cell (maximum cable length).
• If the box is  xed to a post, a water ght panel must be  xed behind the control box (350x400 mm minimum).
• Fix the support solidly to the wall or the water ght panel, and place the control box on it using the screws provided.
