2.4.3 Connecng the Cyclonic™ Leaf Catcher (available as an oponal extra)
• Connect the leaf catcher to the hose the closest to the sucon line or skimmer (see image ).
• Orient the leaf catcher as instructed: "PUMP" = lter pump side / "CLEANER" = cleaner side (see image ).
• For opmum operaon, posion the leaf catcher vercally to the water's surface (see image ).

Leaf Catcher
The leaf catcher is used to retain debris before it is aspirated into the ltraon system, which could cause
damage to the equipment in the long term. It is also used to remove debris more easily than from the pump's
pre-lter, and has the advantage of being transparent for easily determining when it requires cleaning.
2.4.4 Tesng and adjusng the ow rate
Before installing the cleaner, test and adjust the ow rate to determine the ideal ow rate.
To do this, hold the hose under water and clip the ow switch onto the quick connector (see image ).
Start the pump.
