4.3 I Maintaining the diaphragm
Before beginning this operaon and to prevent serious injury:
Stop the lter pump.
Disconnect the cleaner from the hose.
4.3.1 Checking the diaphragm before cleaning or replacement
If the cleaner stops, stop the sucon pump and remove the cleaner from the pool. Check that the diaphragm is not
blocked.
Turn the cleaner over (see image ).
Inspect the diaphragm and remove any debris and/or items that may be blocking it.
Check that the diaphragm is not damaged (torn, etc.) and that it is not too worn (diaphragm has become slack,
worn down or has a scky texture, etc.). If this is the case, clean or replace the diaphragm (see §4.3.2 Removing the
diaphragm for cleaning or replacement and §4.3.3 Re-assembling the diaphragm).
