Using the Sampler Function
The PFX-9003 has a built-in sampler which allows you to easily record and
play up to 30 seconds of the input signal at the [INPUT] jack or [AUX IN]
jack. During playback, it is also possible to change the play tempo without
altering the pitch. This is convenient for learning a fast guitar phrase.
1.
Connect the sampling source (instrument or other device) to the
[INPUT] jack or the [AUX IN] jack (see page 8 – 9).
2.
Turn power to the PFX-9003 on and press the [SAMPLER] key in
play mode.
The PFX-9003 switches to the sampler mode, and the display shows the input
source (normally "GT MIC").
In sampler mode, the following functions are assigned to the controls.

[SAMPLER] key
GT MIC
PATCH [W] key PATCH [Q] key
Controls play/stop
of the recorded signal.
Starts recording.
CURSOR
[E]/[R] keys
Control rewind/forward
of the recorded signal.
Slider 3
Controls the sampler
playback level.
Slider 2
Selects the playback mode.
Slider 1
Selects the sampling source to be recorded.
