ning the backlight off
When using the PFX-9003 on batteries, you can extend battery life by turning
the display backlight off. Proceed as follo
ws.

power to the PFX-9003 on while holding down the
CURSOR [

] key
.
The PFX-9003 will operate without the display backlight.
2.
To
activate the backlight again, turn the unit off and then on
again.
