8.1.2 How to set static MAC binding? (Static)
Overview
Static MAC address is an address that has been manually entered in the MAC
address table, Static MAC address does not age out. After setting up a static
MAC address on a port it reduce the need for broadcasting.
Topology,
Note: in the scenario switch port 1 has been configured static MAC binding with
client A specific MAC address and given the port 1 an IP address of 192.168.1.101.
1. Enter Source Guard Setup.
