13.7 Date and Time
For effective scheduling and logging, the WAH7601 system time must be accurate. The WAH7601 has a
software mechanism to get the current time and date from an external server. To change your
WAH7601’s time zone, click System > Setting > Date and Time. The screen displays as shown. You can
have the WAH7601 get the date and time from a time server or change the IP address or URL of your
time server.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Current System Time This field displays the present time and date of your WAH7601.
Click Sync with host so the WAH7601 synchronizes its time with the time of the device
currently connected to the Web Configurator.
Time Zone Choose the time zone of your location. This will set the time difference between your time
zone and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Enable Daylight
Saving
Daylight Saving Time is a period from late spring to early fall when many countries set their
clocks ahead of normal local time by one hour to give more daytime light in the evening.
Click the check box if you use Daylight Saving Time.
