7.7 WiFi Client
Your WAH7601 can act as a wireless client. In wireless client mode, it can connect to an existing network
via an access point. Use this mode if you already have an access point or wireless router in your network.
In the example below, one WAH7601 (A) is configured as a wireless client and another is used as an
access point (B). The WAH7601 has two clients that need to connect to the Internet. The WAH7601
wirelessly connects to the available access point (B).

After the WAH7601 and the access point connect, the WAH7601 acquires its WAN IP address from the
access point. The clients of the WAH7601 can now surf the Internet.
Click Configuration > Network > WiFi Client. The screen appears as shown next.
MCC This displays the Mobile Country Code (MCC), which is used to identify the country
of a mobile subscriber.
MNC This displays the Mobile Network Code (MNC), which is used in combination with
MCC to identify the public land mobile network (PLMN) of a mobile subscriber.
Operator Name This displays the name of the service provider.
Access Technology This displays the mobile phone standard of data transfer on this mobile network.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the WAH7601.
Query Click Query so the WAH7601 can scan for PLMN in the area, you need a working SIM
card to be able to scan for PLMNs.
