Alarm functions
General information
Alarm configuration menu:
The alarm configuration menu can be opened in two ways:
Alarm trigger :
Your phone is equipped with the following alarm triggers:
SOS key to manually trigger an alarm ("Triggering an alarm manually", page 122)
Automatic, configurable man-down alarm
Automatic, configurable no-movement alarm
Automatic, configurable escape alarm
Operation without alarm system
When a phone is operated without an alarm system, only two types of alarm triggers
can be differentiated:
Manual trigger using the SOS key
Automatic trigger using a sensor (man-down, no-movement or escape alarm).
With both trigger types you can trigger dialling or execute a function code. This con-
figuration can only be made by your system administrator.

Press and hold down the key
[a]
then select the setting you want.
Or:
Press Menu > Settings > Sensor alarm then select the setting you want.
Note:
The phone has the function of an alarm telephone and therefore is only one compo-
nent within an alarming concept. The response to a triggered alarm depends on the
configuration and rating of the alarm concept, and the configuration of the alarm
functions must always be made within the context of the alarming concept.
Note:
Operation without alarm system is not suitable for personal protection as alarm
reception cannot be guaranteed.
