Setting the server alarm signalling
When the server alarms are activated in the system, you can select from the alarm sig-
nalling as follows: Vibracall, Progressive ring tone, Suppress ring tone (see chapter "Set-
ting the server alarm", page 82).
Hands-free in the event of an alarm
You can configure the setting so the alarm trigger occurs in hands-free or handset
mode. This setting is then also valid for the emergency call using the SOS key.
Triggering an alarm manually
You are in an emergency situation and want to trigger an alarm.
By pressing the SOS key on the top of the housing you can trigger an alarm, providing
the phone is switched on.
For your safety
Range alarm
The phone can only send the alarm messages if it is within the radio area. So it is
important to activate the Range alarm so that you are notified acoustically by the
phone if you are about to leave the radio area (see chapter "Activating range alarm
and system busy beep", page 82).
Note:
Your settings for Vibracall and Suppress ring tone can be overruled by the alarm
server.
Press the SOS key on the top of the housing.
➔Alarm is triggered.
Note:
The alarm is triggered even if the keypad is locked.
