Battery alarm
For safety reasons make sure that the batteries are always loaded (see chapter "Charg-
ing the battery", page 129).
When the alarm server mode is activated, an alarm is triggered as soon as the battery
is below 20 %. This function is only available in alarm serve mode.
Testing the alarm function
You can trigger a predefined test alarm to check whether the phone signals the
alarms to the alarm system and whether the system recognises the alarm signals and
processes them.
This function is only available in alarm serve mode. Contact your system administrator
for more information.
Note:
Always trigger a test alarm when you begin your shift to check that the alarm system
is operational. Repeat the test at regular intervals.
Press the navigation key to the right or the Menu softkey.
Settings
Scroll to Settings and press the Select softkey.
Sensor alarm
Scroll to Sensor alarm and press the Select softkey.
Transmit test alarm
Scroll to Transmit test alarm and press the Select softkey.
Test alarm is sent to the alarm system. Depending on the configuration of
the alarm system, the alarm system triggers a test alarm and signals it on
your phone.

Triggering test alarm is also available via the alarm configuration menu: Press
and hold down key 3 Transmit test alarm.
