GLA531 Series LGR-ICOS™ Gas Analyzer
Calibration
The Calibration screen provides the tools to calibrate the analyzer without having it shipped back to the factory.
Before performing a calibration on the analyzer, have the following information available:
Calibration gas mixture suitable for the application.
Exact concentration of each calibration gas. Every gas concentration must be in the measurement
range of the analyzer.
To perform a calibration, connect the calibration gas bottle to the analyzer inlet line. Make sure the gas inlet
pressure is below 7.25 psig (or less than 0.5 barg).
STEP 1 Click Setup, then the Calibration tab.
STEP 2 Check the Calibrate box in the Reference Gas Settings pane.
STEP 3 Enter the gas concentration using the arrow keys in the traceable certified bottle gas menu (below the
Calibrate box). The gas concentration is the known value of the calibration gas.
STEP 4 Click Start to start the calibration.
STEP 5 Repeat STEP 2 through STEP 4 for all gases measured by the analyzer.
STEP 6 After the calibration is complete, click OK. The analyzer will then resume its normal measurement
mode.
STEP 7 Click Close to exit the Calibration screen.
