Blood Ketone Testing
You can use the built-in meter to check your blood ketone
(β-hydroxybutyrate). It is important to consider doing this when:
• You are sick
• Your glucose is higher than 13.3 mmol/L
• You and your health care professional decide you should

To warm the site, apply a warm dry pad or rub
vigorously for a few seconds.
