Refer to the ACCU-CHEK Pocket Compass Software with Bolus Calculator User Guide for
more information on the use of this software.
Before calculating a bolus using the bolus calculator
• Check entries carefully
• Do not change the time in the handheld. This could affect the duration of a “time out”
period that is currently in effect
• Do not change any of the settings on the bolus calculator setup
• If the calculated amount does not refl ect how you feel it is imperative that you adjust the
amount accordingly.
Step 1: From the main menu select the Bolus Calculator option at the bottom of the
screen. An information screen will appear. Click OK.
Step 2: Enter your current blood glucose value manually. Click Next

Click import to download the value from the meter.
