Thermal Module Removal 0
Prerequisite:
Mainboard Removal
1. Find Thermal module (B) on Mainboard. Refer to Figure 3-18.
2. Loosen three (3) captive screws (A) in numerical order from one (1) to three (3). Refer
to Figure 3-23.
3. Disconnect the thermal module cable from the mainboard connector (B)
(Figure 3-23).
4. Remove thermal module from Mainboard.

IMPORTANT:

Apply approved thermal grease and ensure all heat pads are in position
before replacing
module.
CAUTION:
!
Use caution when applying thermal grease. Thermal grease may cause
damage to the mainboard.
The following thermal grease types are approved for use:
Silmore GP50
Honeywell
