Voltage levels and power levels
Voltage levels (dB) are referred to a voltage of 0.775 V
(1 mW into 600 Ω). For this reason, the level does not
change when measurements are made using a generator
with an output impedance of 0 Ω and various input
impedances are selected.
Power levels (dBm) are referred to 1mW. When a different
input impedance is selected a different level will be displayed
by the instrument.
