4.2.3 Receive frequency (FREQ)
The three keys in the group marked "FREQ" are used to
select the receive frequency of the selective receiver
manually or automatically.
TUNE The receive frequency can be entered using
the number keys or in steps (coarse/fine)
using the up/down keys.
AFC AFC automatically adjusts the receive
frequency to the frequency of the input signal.
SEARCH Using this facility you can automatically
search for signals in a certain frequency
range that exceed a certain level threshold
STEP For changing the receive frequency using the
number keys or in steps using the up / down
keys (step width ∆F). The step widths for the
"TUNE"function are fixed, but "STEP" can
be used to set a step width ∆F between 0
and 620 kHz
