4.2.3.4 AFC
The AFC function adjusts the receive frequency to the input
frequency. AFC only comes into operation when selective
measurements are being made and will only function
properly if there is a discrete signal of sufficient amplitude in
the passband of the selected filter.
AFC cannot be used if DEMOD mode has been selected
It is a good idea to activate AFC if
– you want to quickly tune the receiver to the centre of the
filter,
– the signal frequency is fluctuating, or
– you want to monitor a signal for a long time
