Avoid cooling fan! It may turn on during test.
✓ During testing, it is VERY IMPORTANT that each required step be
performed when prompted by the Scan Tool. Failure to perform
these steps may set DTC(s) in the PCM.
During this test, the Scan Tool prompts the user to perform the following
steps:
❒ Press speed control ON button.
❒ Press speed control OFF, RESUME, COAST, and ACCEL but-
tons.
❒ Tap brake and clutch pedals.
4. When test is completed.
•Turn the ignition key off.
•Press
ENTER
to view the
KOEO failures.
5. View and write down DTCs.
•Use the
UP
or
DOWN
arrow keys.
✓ ENG indicates that DTC is from the
engine or powertrain computer.
6. Return to Diagnostic Codes Menu.
•Press
BACK
