Home Theater - Option 2
Parameters - The video sources are switched internal to the TV. The surround decoder and
power amplifier areat the mainframe or the home theater amp draws more than 10 amps. The
central system source AC control is accomplished using the ACC-3000 thus leaving the 9 pin
"D" connector on the Delta-88 available for zone tracking.
Operation - Same as Home Theater Option 1
How - Using the Delta-88's 9 pin "D" connector (set for zone tracking), a low voltage signal is
sent to the ACC-3 and it will turn on the theater's amplifier. The CCS-4's current sensing circuit
(the TV is plugged into the CS outlet) will also engage the CCS-4's 24 VDC output when the TV
is turned on. This output feeds the LLS-2 Line Level Switcher and loops out of the LLS-2 into
the ACC-3's second (and independent) low voltage input. This causes the ACC-3 to engage the
amplifier when the TV is turned on and switches the LLS-2 over to the TV's output to override
the output of the Delta. When the TV is turned off, the SSD-66's input resets to the music
system's output. Note that the SSD-66 is connected to the ADA Bus™ via a BI-3000 Bus Isolator.
The SSD-66 is turned onwith the Amplifier.
