8 Once all home theater addresses are programmed into the Delta-88, repeatedly press
the PRESET button until the source display reads "MODE 3 PRGRM".
10 Press the Delta-88's ALL button. The source display will quickly read
"PROGRAMMING"......"PROGRAMMED".....and then the source name selected to that
room. This downloads all the information to the keypads on the system.
Step T - Custom Source Programming
VS-3s and Special CD/LASER Controllers
1 VS-3 Scrolling Input Selectors
The VS-3 can be used as a scrolling input selector to expand the system's source inputs as
described under "VS-3 As Scrolling Input Selector" (see pages 44-55). While most VS-3s are
used for only independent video switching per room, "Video Option 2" described on page 46,
shows how a single VS-3's output can be common to the entire home. In order for the keypads
to control a particular VS-3 and VS-3 output on one of the Delta-88's source buttons, you will
need to program that source button for the particular VS-3.
The VS-3 has a single address, "STAND ALONE", when operating as a single room home
theater system. When operating as a scrolling input selector on the Delta System, the VS-3's
address will need to be changed and it must match the address you are about to program into
the Delta-88. Furthermore, since the VS-3 is also working with a PCT-8 for keypad control of
the video sources, the PCT-8s address must match the VS-3's address in accordance to the
listing below. At this time, the VS-3 and PCT-8 should be connected to the ADA Bus™ (WH-
3000s) as is detailed in the wiring diagrams illustrated in pages 44-55 per you specific
installation. The following addresses appear in the Delta-88 and may need to be programmed
such that all keypads in the home access the same VS-3 output. If the VS-3 outputs are accessed
individually per room, this programming is discussed in Section U.
