Audio Option 2 - Rooms w/ TVs that are using an external amplifier for music (PF-200).
In rooms where an external power amplifier is used for amplification of the music sources, the
same power amplifier can be used for the TV's output. Please note, that the TV's variable line-
level output needs to feed the amplifier since the room's Delta Preamp/Amp Card (RAM-50)
does not have a processor-loop. Using a CCS-4 Current Sensing Low Voltage Trigger, LLS-2
Line Level Switcher, and ACC-3 Low Voltage Triggered AC Outlet, the central amplifier will
turn on when either the room's keypad is turned on or when the TV is turned on. This will allow
the audio output of the TV to be amplified when viewing stations on the TV's internal TV tuner,
viewing a central video source selected on the keypad with the TV set to an external input, or
viewing a local video source (local VCR) with the TV set to a second external input. The
amplifier can be located at the system mainframe or in the near the TV as the same number of
wires need to be run in either situation. Most commonly, the amplifier is located at the
mainframe with the ACC-3 and LLS-2. The CCS-4 is located near the TV. The speaker wires
run directly home, the VS-3's video and stereo audio output are run from the mainframe to the
TV, the TV's variable audio output is run home to the mainframe, and a two conductor low
voltage wire is run from the CCS-4's location (near the TV) to the system mainframe.
