Chapter 2 Getting Started
2.3 Configuration Utility Installation
The following section will demonstrate installing the Advantech serial device server
configuration utility, a tool to set up and monitor the EKI-1510 series serial device
servers.:
1. Execute the EKI device configuration utility setup program with administrator
privilege that could be found in the CD-ROM shipped with the product or down-
loaded from official support site.
2. Upon executing the setup program, the Welcome Dialog Box will pop-up. Press
the “Next” button to continue.
Note! Be sure that you have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your
PC.
