Note: Enabling the IDE HDD block mode, will also activate
the enhanced IDE driver.
3.1.10 Password setting
To change, confirm, or disable the password, choose the “PASS-
WORD SETTING” option from the Setup main menu and press
[Enter]. The password can be at most 8 characters long.
Remember, to enable this feature, you must first select the Security
Option in the BIOS FEATURES SETUP to be either “Setup” or
“System”. Pressing [Enter] again without typing any characters will
disable the password setting function.
