15. Install the vent line to the vent tube in the tank.
Note: We recommend running your vent line to the
rear of the fuel tank like shown below. This
will prevent fuel from siphoning out when
the tail section of the plane is lifted or when
flying a down line.
Fuel Tank Installation
1. If using both the fuel and smoke tanks position
them side by side as shown below. Fuel tank flat
and smoke tank on its side.
2. Thread nylon ties under tank mounting plate and
center in position. Install foam rubber pad for
fuel tank to rest on. Foam rubber will help pre-
vent fuel from foaming or getting air bubbles
from engine vibration.
3. Cinch the nylon ties securely to hold the tank
against the foam on the fuel tank floor.
Note: Remember you are working from the under
side of the fuselage. Top of fuel tank is next
to floor.
