Typeface Conventions
Sample (bold) Boldface type is used when a term is defined or
emphasized.
Sample (Italic) Italic type is used for emphasis and for titles of
manuals and other publications.
Sample menu/button/box/tab Indicates a menu/button/box/tab on the screen
labeled “Sample” which can be selected/executed
by clicking. “menu”, “button”, “box”, or “tab“
may be omitted.
key Indicates a hardkey (key on the front panel or
external keyboard) labeled “Sample.” “key” may
be omitted.
[Sample] Indicates the hardkey whose key label is
“Sample“.
[Sample] - Item Indicates a series of key operations in which you
press the
[Sample] key, make the item called
“Item” on the displayed menu blink by using the
[ ↓] or in other ways, and then press the [Enter]
key.
