4. Commissioning and Operation
Starting Petrol Engine
ŒPosition the spark plug connector
(E/13).
• Open fuel tap (E/11).
ŽCold engine: Turn CHOKE lever (D/4)
to position "CHOKE".
Warm engine: Leave CHOKE in operat-
ing position or turn half way.
•Set drive-gearshift and PTO gearshift to
"O" .
•Set engine shut-off switch
(B/5 or C/5) to "I".
‘Set speed control lever (B/4 or C/4) to
approx. 1/3 throttle.
’Pull the starter rope on the handle (E/4)
until the starter clutch engages. Then pull
hard and fast to pull the rope all the way
out. After the start, let the rope glide back.
Do not let it snap back.
“As soon as the engine has warmed up,
move the CHOKE back to the operating
position (if it was operated).
