      Jason PattonAug 2, 2025
If your Airwell Air Conditioner's compressor is running, but the unit isn't cooling, the Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) might be stuck in the closed position. You should check the EEV.

What to do if the Airwell Multi Split DUO 50 DCI Air Conditioner indoor fan won't start?

      Julie DouglasAug 16, 2025
If the indoor fan of your Airwell Air Conditioner doesn't start, but the louvers are open and the green LED is lit, here are a few things to check: * If the unit is in heat mode, the coil may not be warm yet. Try switching to cool mode. * The outdoor unit might be in the opposite mode. Change the operation mode and see if the fan starts. * There may be a problem with the PCB or capacitor. Set the fan to high speed and check the power supply to the motor. For Triac controlled motors, it should be higher than 130VAC; for fixed speed motors, it should be higher than 220VAC. If the power supply is OK, replace the capacitor. If not, replace the controller.

How to fix an Airwell Air Conditioner when the power indicator is off?
    • B
      Bruce HarrisAug 26, 2025
If the power supply indicator (Red LED) on your Airwell Air Conditioner indoor unit isn't lit, it indicates a power supply problem. Check the power supply from the outdoor unit. If the power supply is OK, then check the display and display wiring. If the display and wiring are OK, replace the controller.
