WARNING
Voltage Selection
Power requirements for electrical equipment differ from
area to area. Please ensure that your machine meets the power
requirements in your area. If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician.
120V, 60 Hz for USA and Canada
220/240V, 50 Hz for Europe, UK and Australia
110/120V/220V /240V, 50/60 Hz internally switchable for
other countries.
Power Cord
If your machine cornes with a detachable power cord, please
insert into the AC power inlet on the rear panel of your
machine. If you want to use any other type of power cord ,
please use one of a similar kind and consult a qualified elec-
trician.
FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE UK
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
Blue: Neutra!, Brown: Live
As
the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying
the terminais in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
* When wiring a plug, ensure that ali terminais are securely
tightened and that no loose strands of wire exist.
VOLTAGE AND CYCLE CONVERSION
Please look at the voltage chart located near the power cord
(or AC Inlet). If it reads 120V, 60 Hz the voltage is fixed. If
it reads 220V /240V, 50 Hz the voltage may be changed with
the voltage selector switch, Iocated on the rear panel. If it
reads 110V/120V/220V/240V 50/60Hz, there is a universal
voltage selector Iocated on the inside of your machine. Also
your machine will show the voltage at which it was preset in
the factory. If the latter applies to y our machine please refer
the following voltage and cycle conversions to a qualified
Service Repair Shop or professional service personnel.
(1) DISCONNECT POWER CORD and remove rear panel.
(2) Remove the Voltage Selector Plug and reinsert so that
proper area voltage shows through the plug eut-out.
{3) Change fuse to correspond with voltage (Refer to fuse
instructions for proper fuse).
* To maintain optimum performance and prolong the !ife
of your machine, it is important that the line voltage be
held within 1 O% of standard are a voltage.
CYCLE
* As the unit is equipped with C.P.G. AC Servo Motor,
cycle change for capstan drive mot or is not necessary.
Following instruction is just for readjusting reel motors
torques according to cycles.

DISCONNECT POWER CORD.
(2) Remove rear panel.

Cycle Change Switch is located on the System Control
P.C. Board. Set to 50 Hz or 60 Hz position according to
area power source.
PRECAUTIONS

Cordon d'alimentation
Au cas où l'appareil est muni d'un cordon d'alimentation
détachable, brancher celui-ci à l'entrée d'alimentation CA
située sur le panneau arrière de l'appareil. Prière d'utiliser un
cordon similaire et de consulter un électricien qualifié en cas
d'utilisation d'un autre type de cordon.

CONVERSION DU CYCLE ET DE LA TENSION
Prière de consulter le tableau de tension situé près du cordon
d'alimentation (ou de l'entrée CA). La tension est fixée si
le
tableau indique 120V, 60 Hz. S'il indique 220Vf240V,
50 Hz, la tension peut être changée à l'aide du commutateur
du sélecteur de tension, situé sur le panneau arrière. S'il
indique 110Vf120V/220V/240V 50/60Hz, votre appareil est
équipé d'un sélecteur de tension universel et celui-ci est situé
à l'intérieur de l'appareil. La tension à laquelle votre appareil
a été préréglé en usine est également indiquée. Au cas où
ceci s'applique à votre appareil, prière de consulter un service
de réparation ou un professionnel qualifié afin qu'il effectue
les conversions de cycle et de tension.
(1) DEBRANCHER LE CORDON D'ALIMENTATION et en-
lever le panneau arrière.
(2)
Enlever la prise du sélecteur de tension et la réinsérer afin
que les orifices corrects correspondent à la tension.
(3) Changer le fusible de sorte qu'il corresponde à la tension
(se référer aux instructions concernant les fusibles pour
utiliser le fusible correct).
* Afin d'assurer une performance optimale et de prolonger
la longévité de votre appareil, il est important que la
tension de ligne soit mainte nue à moins de ou à 1 O% de la
tension standard de la zone.
CYCLE
* L'unité étant équipée d'un servomoteur CA C.P.G., le
changement de cycle pour le moteur d'entraînement du
cabestan n'est pas nécessaire. Les instructions suivantes
ne concernent que le réglage des couples des moteurs de
bobine conformément aux cycles.
(1) DEBRANCHER LE CORDON D'ALIMENTATION.
(2) Enlever le panneau arrière.
(3) Le commutateur de changement du cycle est situé sur la
plaque P.C. de commande du système. Le mettre sur la
position 50 Hz ou 60 Hz selon la source d ' alimentation de
la zone.

lichen Stromverhà:ltnissen entspricht. lm Zweifelsfalle wenden

Stromkabel
Wenn Sie ein Gerat mit einem abnehmbaren Stromkabel erhal-
ten, stecken Sie dieses bitte in die Leitungs-Eingangsbuchse auf
der Rückseite Ihres Gerates ein. Falls Sie ein anderes Strom-
kabel benützen mochten, achten Sie bitte darauf, da~ es sich
um ein Kabel ahnlicher Art handelt , und wenden Sie sich an
einen Fachmann.

VERSTELLUNG DER STROMSPANNUNG UND DES
STROMWECHSELS
Bitte beachten Sie die Stromspannungstabelle neben dem
Stromkabel {oder Leitungs-Eingangsbuchse). Wenn sie 1 20V,
60 Hz anzeigt, ist dit! Stromspannung festgesetzt. Wenn sie
220/240V, 50 Hz anzeigt, kann die Stromspannung mit dem
Wahlschalter, der sich auf der Rückplatte befindet gewechselt
werden. Wenn die Tabelle 110/120/220/240V, 50/60Hz an-
zeigt,
kann die Stromspannung mit einem universalen Schal-
ter, der sich in dem Geriit befindet gewechselt werden. Auf
Ihrem Geriit ist auch die Spannung angezeigt , die in der
Fabrik im voraus eingestellt wurde. Sollte letzteres bei Ihrem
Geriit zutreffen, wenden Sie sich bitte an ein Service-Repara-
turgeschiift oder an einen Fachmann und beziehen Sie sich
auf die folgendende Verstellung der Stromspannung und des
Stro rn wechsels.

ZIEHEN SIE DAS STROMKABEL AUS und nehmen Sie
die
Rückplatte ab.
(2) Ziehen Sie den Spannungswiihler-Stecker aus, und stecken
Sie ihn wieder ein, damit die richtige Gebietsspannung auf
dem Steckerausschnitt angezeigt wird .
(3) Wechseln Sie die Sicherung, um der Stromspannung zu
entsprechen {beziehen Sie sich auf die Anleitung für
Sicherungen).
* Für optimale Leistung und lange Lebensdauer ihres
Geriites mu~ die Line-Spannung innerhalb 1 O% der nor-
mateo Netzspannung gehalten werden.
STROMWECHSEL
* Da das Geriit mit einem C.P.G. Wechselstrom-Servomotor
ausgestattet ist, erübrigt sich die Verstellung des Strom-
wechsels bei einem Kapstan-Antriebsmotor. Die folgende
Anleitung gilt nur für die Wiedereinstellung der Motor-
drehmomente entsprechend den Stromwechseln.
(1) ZIEHEN SIE DAS STROMKABEL AUS.
(2) Nehmen Sie die Rückplatte ab.
{3) Der
Stromwechsei-Schalter befindet sich auf dem P.C.-
Brett der System-Kontrolle. Stellen Sie auf 50 Hz oder
60 Hz ein je na ch der vorhandenen N etzspannung.
