Installing an SFP, SFP+, CSFP, CFP, or QSFP on an
MDA-a or MDA-aXP Card
A variety of types of transceivers are supported on the 7750 SR-a, depending on the MDA-a
or MDA-aXP card. The following optical transceivers are supported:
• Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP and SFP+)
• Compact Small Form Factor Pluggable (CSFP)
• C Form Factor Pluggable (CFP)
• Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable Plus (QSFP+)
See Appendix E: Pluggable Transceivers on page 221 for information about how to install
and replace optical transceivers.
