2.7 Connecting the Ethernet Cable
1. Route the Ethernet cable from the facility’s network starting point through the
bottom of the Paystation.
2. Once the Ethernet cable is inside the Paystation, route the cable to the 7000
switch, located in the bottom-right section of the Paystation.
3. Plug the cable into one of the four lower-half ports.
[Fig. 2.7A] Use one of the four lower-half ports of the switch.
Note: Once the 7000 is configured with the proper parameters, verify
the Ethernet port in use has link-light connectivity.
